Why insist on an Atlas Copco oil-free solution for your food production?
Your reputation is at stake. You can't afford to compromise on product quality.
Automation/instrument air: prevents jamming and contamination
Compressed air is used to control the valves and actuators in
automated lines for filling, packaging and bottling. Oil in the air builds
up and will find its way to these components, causing jamming and production
stoppage. In addition, the instruments continuously vent out the air, which
if oily contaminates the end product.
Cleaning air: eliminates risk of inferior
products through contamination
Prior to filling, bottles are cleaned with compressed air.
It also cleans piping, for example when changing from one beverage to another.
Oil in the compressed air will negatively affect beverage taste
and smell
of the end product, besides being a health hazard.
Fermentation:
healthy bacteria, no product contamination
Compressed air supplies oxygen to bacteria during fermentation
to produce citric acid, wine, yogurt, etc. The presence of
even small oil traces will kill the bacteria, create a substandard
product and contaminate
the beverage.
Filling and capping: guarantees product purity
Compressed air is used in fi lling and capping machines.
Contamination of the air with oil may compromise the purity
of the end product.
Other
uses: protects your reputation for quality
Compressed air is used in a variety of other applications,
for example peeling vegetables for juices. Oil in the
air deposits on the vegetables,
causing direct contamination of the juice.
